The Holt Retirement Home is a Grade 11 detached listed building. The Home exudes great character and refinement standing in beautiful landscaped gardens whilst creating just the right blend of care, companionship, relaxation and comfort.

The location of home is uniquely situated is Hutton Buscel, an enviable sought after village situated north of the A170 Thirsk to Scarborough road, approximately 6 miles inland from the east coast and 12 miles from the market town of Pickering.

The neighbouring village of East Ayton provides amenities and approximately three miles along the road at Seamer; there is a railway station with regular connections to Malton, Scarborough and York.
Hutton Buscle lies within the North York Moors National Park and is within close proximity to Wykeham and Dalby Forest.

The Home is a blend of elegant living with modern facilities and equipment. It is built on two floors and all the rooms are accessible by wheel chair. There is a variety of bedrooms to choose from, as we provide both single and double rooms, most with en-suite toilets. Bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Residents are encouraged to bring their own pictures and ornaments to make the room really their own.

We offer residents a choice of menus and we cater for special diets. A variety of activities and social events are arranged for residents by our Activities Organiser.
We have a qualified hairdresser to ensure that residents are always looking their best.
